You search "photography studio hire Brisbane," you click into a few listings, and suddenly you're staring down $150, $180, even $200+ an hour for a space that's basically four white walls and a softbox. $70 per hour, with a 2-hour minimum. So you're looking at $140 for a solid two-hour block — genuinely one of the more reasonable rates I've come across for a studio that actually looks and functions like a studio.
Best For
It's a good fit if you're doing portrait sessions, small brand shoots, or anything where you want consistent light and a clean backdrop without renting out a whole production space you don't need.
Silluart Studios — Brisbane Southside, sunnybank
Full disclosure — I haven't shot here myself yet, but it's on my list. I came across Silluart Studios while I was doing the rounds looking for southside options (because let's be honest, not every client wants to drive across the river), and just from the website alone, you can tell it's a genuinely nice space. Well-lit, well-presented, the kind of studio that photographs itself before you've even started shooting.

$124 for 2 hours. Is it the cheapest option out there? No. But compared to what some studios around Brisbane are charging right now — and honestly, some of those rates are just not justifiable for what you get — $124 for two hours in a space that looks this good is fair.
