Terms & Conditions
1. Introduction & Agreement By booking a session, wedding, or event coverage with Twosixhundred Photography (operating as 2600 Studios), you agree to the following terms and conditions. These terms outline our commitments, your responsibilities, and how we handle bookings, payments, and image delivery for clients across Brisbane and South East Queensland.
2. Bookings & Retainers
Date Reservation: A date is officially locked in and secured only upon receipt of a signed client agreement and a non-refundable retainer/deposit.
Rescheduling: We understand that unexpected changes happen. We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate rescheduling requests, provided notice is given in accordance with your agreement terms, subject to availability.
3. Payment Terms
Final Balance: The final balance for any session or coverage must be paid in full prior to the session at least 3 days in advance.
Late Payments: Failure to settle the final balance prior to the deadline may result in a delay of the session or the withholding of final image delivery until payment is fulfilled.
4. Copyright & Usage Rights
Copyright Ownership: Twosixhundred Photography retains the full copyright of all images captured during sessions, in accordance with Australian copyright law.
Personal Use: Clients receive a license to download, print, and share their high-resolution digital images for personal, non-commercial use.
Commercial & Promotional Use: Commercial clients (brands, businesses, and event organizers) are granted usage rights specifically defined within their individual service agreement. Twosixhundred Photography reserves the right to use selected images for portfolio, website, and promotional purposes unless explicitly agreed otherwise prior to booking or opted out in writing.
5. Delivery & Image Retention
Gallery Turnaround: Final edited images are delivered via a secure online digital gallery within the timeframe discussed during your consultation.
Backups: We recommend downloading and backing up your digital gallery immediately upon receipt. Twosixhundred Photography maintains image archives for a limited period but cannot guarantee permanent long-term storage past 6 months post-delivery.
6. Cancellation & Liability
Client Cancellation: If a booking is cancelled by the client, the initial deposit/retainer is non-refundable as it covers lost business and reserved calendar time.
Force Majeure: Twosixhundred Photography is not liable for failure to perform duties due to events beyond reasonable control (including severe weather, natural disasters, illness, or equipment failure). In the rare event of absolute cancellation on our part, all monies paid will be fully refunded.
